what to bring

Participants will be inside and outside (weather permitting). Appropriate dress such as T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes is suggested; please do not wear sandals, flip-flops, or slides. Vending machines for drinks and snacks will be available.  Transportation to and from camp and meals is the responsibility of the participant.

Drum majors may also bring a conducting baton although the use of a baton is available for help during master-class time. All students will need a pencil and paper for notes.

Color Guard members must bring their own pole and flag. You may bring a rifle or sabre with you, however, the focus for most of the weekend will be on movement and flag techniques. All students will need a pencil and paper for notes.

Percussion students should bring the instrument they plan to march with for the fall with a carrier or stand. Mallet instruments will be provided.  All students will need a pencil and paper for notes.

Brass & Woodwind students should bring their instrument and any warm-up exercises you use in your programs to share ideas with other participants. All students will need a pencil and paper for notes.
